Well, friends. Do you want to know my favorite thing about couponing? New products.
Purina One Beyond just released a $3.00/1 coupon in this Sunday's newspaper. I hope you bought one.
If not, go directly to eBay. Do not pass go, do not collect $200. Buy 20 of them. Want to know why?
Because using two of them will get FREE DOG FOOD!
Publix deal this week: Purina One Beyond dog food, 3.5 pound bag, B1G1 $5.99.
Translation: Use 2, $3.00/1 coupons for a total savings of $6.00.
When you spend $5.99 and save $6.00...saving more than you spend means FREE!
FREE, FREE, FREE, FREE, FREE!
I bought 20 coupons for $3.50 this morning.
I am going to get 20 bags of dog food for $3.50.
I am "technically" getting each bag for .18 cents, but to me, they are free. FREE!
Now, isn't that something to bark about...
Want more?
Philadelphia Cooking Creme.
I have always LOVED waiting an hour or more for my solid BLOCK of cream cheese to hit room temperature before adding it to a recipe, haven't you? This can be used straight out of the refrigerator.
It stays creamy. Oh, and helps make the most pefect cream cheese icing one can lick off their finger!
I made cream cheese icing for my Bailey's irish cream cupcakes this weekend. Best. Stuff. Ever.
Right, back to couponing.
Publix deal: Philadelphia Cooking Creme, 10 oz, 2/$4.
Use $1.50/1 coupon. Duh.
FIFTY CENTS, PEOPLE. FIFTY CENTS!
A little advice? When you see a BRAND NEW PRODUCT, buy coupons for it. It is going to go on sale. Last week Winn Dixie had this exact same sale. Go figure?
My picture is of Purina One Beyond CAT food, but same packaging, of course...
ReplyDeleteWhen I was in Walmart today, I noticed that the looking creme (all flavors) had been "rolled back" to $1.90 each. I grabbed the Italian herb one for .40 after coupon....I'll let you know if it tastes good.
ReplyDeleteUm, cooking creme..stupid auto-correct!
ReplyDeleteReally. Walmart, huh? I guess I am not doing my job, for it seems to be cheapest there. :(
ReplyDeleteTarget has a store coupon (online) for $2.00 off the Purina One Beyond. If your publix will take Target coupons (ours does) then you can have some overage!
